    Baked Kale Chips

    Ingredients

    • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
    • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
    • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
    • 3 handfuls raw kale, torn into shreds (rinse and dry first)
    • 2 teaspoons extra virgin olive oil

    Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with foil. Combine salt, paprika and garlic in small bowl and set aside. Place torn kale leaves in large bowl. Drizzle olive oil over kale and rub into leaves. Add more olive oil in small amounts if needed. Arrange kale in single layer on baking sheet. Bake for approximately 12 minutes until the leaves are crisp to the touch but still a dark green (they taste bitter when brown). Watch closely when baking.

    Remove kale chips from oven and immediately sprinkle with seasoning mix.

    Recipe yield: 2-3 servings
